Training Agency: Australian National University

Registration deadline: 12 Feb 2019

Training date: 19 Feb 2019 to 20 Feb 2019 —More Information

The Australasian Aid Conference will be held on 19-20 February 2019, once again in partnership with The Asia Foundation. As in previous years, the aim of the 2019 Australasian Aid Conference is to bring together researchers from across Australia, the Pacific, Asia and beyond who are working on aid and international development policy to share insights, promote collaboration, and help develop the research community. With over 500 people registering in 2018, the AAC has established itself as Australia’s premier aid and development conference.

The call for papers is now available; submissions of abstracts and panel proposals can be made through 5 October 2018.

Registration for the conference is also now open, with an early bird discount available through 30 November.

We are also accepting expressions of interest in sponsoring or exhibiting at the 2019 AAC – find more information about these opportunities here.

Fee information:

Early bird discounts are available up to 30 November, prices vary from $80 – $520 depending on the type of registration. Further information is available at https://devpolicy.crawford.anu.edu.au/annual-australasian-aid-conference/2019/registration. Registration includes all conference sessions and keynotes, morning teas, lunches, and afternoon teas, as well as conference materials.

HOW TO REGISTER:

You can register for the conference here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/2019-australasian-aid-conference-tickets….

Registration includes all conference sessions and keynotes, morning teas, lunches, and afternoon teas, as well as conference materials.

Discounted registration fees are offered for full-time students.

A conference dinner will be held at University House on 19 February 2019. Participants may choose to include the conference dinner with their registration. Registration for the conference dinner only is also available.

We also offer the option of registering for only one day of the two-day conference. Please note there is no early-bird discount on one-day registrations or shared registrations.

Note that the registration fees shown do not include goods and services tax (10%) which will be added when making payment.

We also offer groups the option of registering under the Shared Registration category, whereby a single registration can be shared amongst up to four delegates. Under a shared registration, only ONE delegateper registration may be present at the conference at a time.

The shared registration policy is designed to broaden access to the conference, but in order to ensure that we are able to continue to offer this registration option in the future and to ensure there is adequate catering and space for all conference delegates, we kindly request that you respect this policy and coordinate attendance within your group so that only one delegate is present at the conference at any given time.

If you purchase a shared registration, you will be sent a special code that will allow you to enter the names of the four delegates who will be sharing the registration. More details will be included in the accompanying email.
