Do you want to make a difference in the lives of orphans in Uganda? Are you looking for a once in a lifetime experience travelling in an exciting country while making a positive impact?
Uganda is a country rich in beauty, both in terms of diverse and fascinating cultures and spectacular scenery and wildlife. Everywhere you go, you’ll be greeted by smiling faces, welcoming people and breathtaking natural beauty.
Unfortunately, many in Uganda still struggle, with almost a fifth of the population living in poverty.
This has hit children particularly hard, with many orphaned either due to extreme poverty or by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Without orphanages to take care of them, these children risk being exposed to human trafficking and other harrowing circumstances. Sadly, the resources are spread thin, and while the orphanages do their best, so there is an intense need for volunteers to help these children.
When you join thisvolunteer in Uganda orphanageprogram, you will help the orphans with their daily tasks, including both tutoring and extracurricular activities. Most importantly, you will offer them love and attention that they desperately need and deserve and make a difference in their lives.
