Following the emergence of Coronavirus(COVID-19) in December 2019, in Wuhan China the world
is paying very close attention to its prevention to cushion against the side effects which
come with its infestation. The World Health Organization has already declared it a
pandemic with a number of countries undergoing total lockdowns to flatten the curve of
its spread. Since the disease has no cure yet, this course presents with the latest that is
known about the disease, how to prevent from contracting it and incase one contracts it
what should be done to manage it.
It has also been recognized that the prevention of infections is critical to protect the
health of a population and mitigate the management crisis facing many countries.
