Training Agency:  International Committee of the Red Cross, CHS Alliance

Registration deadline: 30 Sep 2018

Training date: 01 Oct 2018 —More Information

Why do certain changes take place quickly, and in some instances without friction, while other issues stall? Is there a secret to successful change or just a series of traps to avoid?

On 1st October, the CHS Alliance, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), will present the 2018 edition of the Humanitarian Accountability Report. The publication looks at the issue of change under the light of mainstream change theories, dissecting six topics to figure out what works (or doesn’t) and why, from cash transfer programming to localization and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).

The presentation of the Humanitarian Accountability Report will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session, after which you are all invited to a cocktail dinner.

The event will be web streamed for those who cannot be present in Geneva.

MODERATOR

Bonaventure Sokpoh, Head of Policy, Advocacy and Learning, CHS Alliance

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Yves Daccord, Director-General, ICRC

Panellists include representatives from ALNAP, KPMG, Oxfam and a humanitarian donor.
