NGO Scholarships – Assam Foundation of North America (AFNA)
About the foundation – A publicly supported not-for-profit organisation, Assam Foundation of North America (AFNA) has been operational since 1982. The foundation encourages and facilitates individual as well as organisational efforts to further mutual understanding between Assam and North America.
Scholarship/s offered – In view of its objective, the foundation also offers a scholarship with the name, ‘Assam Foundation of North America Akadamics Scholarship’. The scholarship supports the studies of higher secondary passed students of Assam. The students who are seeking or have already enrolled in a bachelor’s degree programme can avail benefits under this scholarship.
