Rise offer practical help ranging from direct advice to refuge accomodation to those in urgent need.

RISE provides crisis accommodation for women and children escaping domestic abuse. This is by way of a refuge – which is a secure and confidential address where people receive specialist support from staff trained to work with women and children affected by domestic abuse. The refuge has room for 15 families in urgent need.
LGB&T* service for survivors of domestic abuse was the first in England, and they also provide one of the few dedicated LGBT refuge and support services.
