We are seeking to hire a Procurement and Transport Manager to work with our office in Ukraine. This role is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the Procurement Team. You will lead the design and implementation of procurement systems and the manager the importation and transport of relief commodities, supplies, and equipment for our various programs. A day in the life of a Procurement and Transport Manager in Ukraine:

In the role of Procurement and Transport Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Organize, direct, and support the work of all logisticians; providing supervision, training and performance appraisals
  • With support from the Deputy Country Director and the Supply Chain Manager, design, implement and maintain an effective and accountable system of procurement, transportation, and storage of all project relief and support materials and commodities
  • Manage all supplier/vendor relationships, including pre-qualification, registration, tendering process, bid analysis and handling all supplier/contractor claims/disputes
  • Manage logistical activities in relation to transportation, distribution and disposal of project inputs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed procurement records, including bid/quotation/tender analysis, invoices, and contracts
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Security personnel, Finance personnel, Base Managers, and the rest of the Supply Chain Team to ensure that project objectives are met in a timely fashion
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting or Supply Chain Management with 2-3 years experience in operations, procurement, logistics, finance/accounting, and counter-fraud or audit experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Field-level experience related to operations/procurement/logistics, and emergency response team is preferred
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required but can be completed after hire)

Job Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Type: Full-time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)

Travel Expectations: 25-30 days/annually both domestic and internationally; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
