Position: Program Manager – Sustainable Supply Chain Program
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Duration: 1-year contract

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in project management, exceptional communication skills, and a fervor for contributing to sustainable supply chains. Join our team and play a crucial role in cultivating relationships with businesses, governments, and civil society organizations, working collaboratively to bring responsible products to market.
Responsibilities and Scope:
- Oversee the strategic development and implementation of the Sustainable Supply Chain Program, focusing on Environment, Social, and Human Rights issues, in alignment with the organization’s vision and Malaysia’s strategy.
- Lead the formulation of theories of change and results frameworks to measure and evaluate program impact.
- Collaborate with the Management team to seamlessly integrate and implement program activities within members’ work plans.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers and officers, ensuring capacity building and resource management to support ongoing and future initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering partnerships with businesses, NGOs, and government agencies.
- Provide strategic guidance and contribute to the identification of new business development opportunities in the region.
- Foster innovation and contribute to the development of the organization’s global activities across various sectors.
Requirements – Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, business, social science, international development, or related field.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills in English; fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience collaborating with NGOs and government agencies in Malaysia.
- Strong people management and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and motivating teams.
- In-depth understanding of business supply chains and sourcing issues.
- Keen interest in environmental and social issues in Malaysia.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office programs.
Language skills:
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia/Malay is an asset.
