Overview of position:
As part of our dedication to innovation & efficiency, we are seeking a motivated PowerApp Development Intern to join our dynamic Business Transformation & Information Technology team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in new PowerApp development, existing PowerApp enhancement, contributing to innovative solutions that streamline business processes & enhancing enhancing your skills in the rapidly evolving field of low code application development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
PowerApp development:
Work closely with the Business Transformation team to design, develop & deploy PowerApps that streamline business processes.
Collaborate with Business Transforamtion team to gather requirements & translate them into functional PowerApps.
Enhancement of existing PowerApps to deploy new request or improvements.
Customization & configuration:
Customize PowerApps using the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance functionality & user experience.
Configure data sources & connectors to ensure seamless integration with various systems.
Testing & debugging:
Conduct comprehensive testing of PowerApps to identify & address any issues or bugs.
Collaborate with the Business Transformation team to ensure the reliability & performance of developed applications.
Documentation:
Create detailed documentation for PowerApps, including design specifications, user guides & maintenance documentation.
Maintain accurate records of development activities, changes & updates.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross functional teams to understand business processes & identify opportunities for PowerApp development.
Providing insights & contributing to collaborative problem solving.
Project reporting:
This role reports to the Transformation Analyst.
Reqiured qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology or a fresh graduate in a related field.
Basic understanding of low code application development and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Eagerness to learn & apply new technologies & development methodologies.
Strong problem solving skills & attention to detail.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Preferred skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications & services.
Basic understanding of UI / UX design principles.
Prior exposure to PowerApps development or other low code platforms.
Knowledge of data integration concept.
Team management:
This role has no team management responsibility.
