JOB SUMMARY:
CARE is seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to help lead our efforts to drive impactful campaigns, inspire donors and help fund humanitarian work to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. In this role, you’ll spearhead the planning, execution, and optimization of an array of digital fundraising initiatives including website fundraising, cryptocurrency, gaming and be charged with testing new initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Website Fundraising
- This position will partner with the Director, Digital Fundraising and Advertising in devising and executing fundraising strategies for CARE.org (USA) with the objective of raising $3M in support of our international programs. Collaborating closely with the Marketing department responsible for content creation on CARE.org, the incumbent will spearhead the creation of compelling creative assets for CARE.org’s homepage, donation pages, encompassing Hero sections, Banners, Lightboxes, and Donation Buttons. They will assume a partnership role and be part of a collaborative, multi-agency team aimed at enhancing digital-generated revenue.
- This role will work closely with Assistant Manager, Production to ensure all donation pages for campaigns and appeals are met on time, as well as requests for source codes.
- Moreover, they will participate in working groups representing digital fundraising with the goal to optimize and strengthen donor-centric experiences with the focus of increasing lifetime value of donors.
Digital Partnership Management for Gaming & Crypto
- CARE has established robust alliances within the gaming community and aims to further amplify these connections. This position will directly engage with CARE’s gaming partners, fostering ongoing relationships and strategizing for future fundraising initiatives and expansion. Additionally, the role will explore new digital platforms to broaden fundraising efforts, manage public-facing digital platforms, and craft social media strategies that highlight the community’s achievements while attracting new gamers to participate in fundraising endeavors.
- Moreover, CARE embraces cryptocurrency among its diverse support mechanisms. This role will oversee CARE’s capacity to accept various cryptocurrencies, collaborating closely with partners to ensure a seamless donor experience on CARE.org.
Tracking of fundraising reporting, expenses and other tasks
- In collaboration with senior management, this individual will report key performance indicators (KPIs), adeptly curate and analyze revenue reports, encompassing both immediate and long-term value. These insights will be used in making strategic decisions, optimizing and elevating the program’s effectiveness.
- This position will project manage and track digital fundraising expenses, assist with RFP and internal contracting processes and assist with setting agendas and track action steps from meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- 4+ years of digital fundraising experience that has resulted in revenue growth
- Has experience in creating comprehensive digital fundraising strategies include audience targets, identifying key platforms, and planning campaigns
- Effective communicator able to develop business plans and pitch to senior leadership to gain buy-in
- Love collaboration: Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to assist in building stronger strategies and challenge mitigation
- Data literacy and analytics experience, including reading, interpreting, decision-making, and results reporting using Google Analytics and CRM platform – Project management experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize workload and multi-task, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable making decisions and driving them forward
