Position: Multi-Sectoral Trainer (Local Experts for Turkey, Iraq and Syria)
Locations: Turkey, Iraq or Syria (Field presence required)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver in-person, context-specific training sessions targeting SME development and other sectors listed above.
  • Develop tailored training materials and tools reflecting local realities and sector-specific needs.
  • Provide mentorship and capacity-building support for startups and local businesses to enhance their skills and prepare for growth and fundraising.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor training effectiveness and adapt content accordingly.
  • Travel within Turkey, Iraq or Syria to conduct trainings and provide field support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years delivering training.
  • Proven expertise in one or more of the key sectors above, with a strong focus on SMEs preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic and/or Kurdish (Sinjar Kurmanji dialect an asset).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Iraq and Syria.
  • Relevant university degree in social sciences, business, economics, or related fields.
