Here’s where you come in:

As the Country Program Director for World Vision Nicaragua, you will collaborate and coordinate, in conjunction with the Cluster Director and team, all aspects of the World Vision Ministry in Nicaragua. You will focus on ensuring national relevance and impact by the implementation of programming, advocacy and sustainability and also ensuring organizational alignment to global strategy and regional priorities.

As Country Program Director you will be responsible for leading and strengthening the WV Nicaragua leadership team for appropriate and timely decision making and risk & opportunities identification and management.

Requirements include:

  • Experience working with external partners in a local context.
  • At least 5 years senior management experience.
  • Sound and proven experience fundraising with ambitious targets.
  • Sound and proven experience in programming and business.
  • At least 5 years senior management experience.
  • Experience in combining slow and fast onset programs. Ability to juggle emergency response with long-term transformational development.
  • Master’s degree in Sustainability, Marketing, Development or similar.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish are required.
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
