Project Brief and Scope of Work

The initiative aims to foster collaborative energy efficiency efforts among private enterprises. Given the high energy costs and reliance on outdated technologies, businesses—particularly SMEs—face challenges in adopting energy-efficient practices. This program seeks to develop and implement a sustainable model for energy efficiency networks. By
leveraging successful examples from other regions, the initiative will facilitate knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building efforts to drive scalable energy savings and carbon reduction across industries.
The program will include a landscape assessment, piloting of network formation, and capacity-building activities to equip stakeholders with the tools needed for long-term sustainability. Additionally, strategies for financing, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge dissemination will be developed to ensure the project’s success in promoting energy-efficient solutions across industries. The Energy expert is expected to lead the project and provide technical expertise in the matter.

Education/Training: Master in Business Administration, Energy Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related discipline
Language: English
Professional experience:
● At least 10 years experience in environmental management, energy sector initiatives, public policy development, and industry collaboration.
● Has hands-on experience conducting energy audits, implementing energy efficiency technologies, and working w energy service companies (ESCOs) across various industries.
● Holding certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) is a strong advantage
● Proven leadership experience managing projects, overseeing teams, and ensuring successful implementation within organizations.

● Extensive involvement in projects across Southeast Asia, with at least five years of regional experience
● Proven track record of working on development cooperation (DC) projects for a minimum of five year
● In-depth understanding of ESCO models, energy efficiency networks, and other collaborative industry-driven sustainability initiatives.
● Strong background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector coordination.
