Programme Intern

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society. As part of its Rwanda Programmes, the IOM Rwanda Programmes addresses the needs and rights of vulnerable migrants, providing critical support to ensure their well-being and protection.

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programmes and the direct supervision of the Senior Project Assistant, the Programme Administrative Intern will assist the Programmes Unit in its daily operations, providing administrative and logistical support to ensure the efficient implementation of activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation and management of documents, reports, and correspondences.
  • Logistical Support: Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and field missions, including travel arrangements and accommodation.
  • Communication: Draft external letters and facilitate their submission
  • Documentation: Assist in the knowledge management of the Programmes unit, ensuring proper filing and record-keeping.

Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor to ensure the smooth functioning of the Programmes.
