Objectif général du poste:
1. Assurer le positionnement d’ACF dans la région en tant qu’acteur clé dans la lutte contre la malnutrition.
2. Promouvoir et coordonner le développement d’initiatives communes et régionales entre les missions d’Action contre la Faim et les QG en Afrique de l’Ouest et en Afrique Centrale – sur les secteurs techniques et opérationnels.
3. Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’IDRU pour développer nos capacités de collecte de fonds.
Principales responsabilités:
- Objectif 1 : Piloter stratégiquement le ROWCA en veillant à ce que la stratégie reste pertinente au contexte changeant, que les projets soient mis en œuvre selon les meilleures pratiques PCM et que de nouveaux projets à haute valeur ajoutée soient développés et financés.
- Objectif 2 : Représenter Action contre la Faim et renforcer le réseau Action contre la Faim au niveau régional au niveau national, promouvoir des relations positives avec les principales parties prenantes, relayer les messages d’Action contre la Faim et veiller à ce que les programmes d’Action contre la faim et les enseignements tirés soient mis en évidence, diffusés et promu.
- Objectif 3 : Actualiser et assurer la mise en œuvre de la stratégie régionale de plaidoyer d’Action contre la Faim, diffuser les messages d’Action contre la Faim dans toute la région et promouvoir la clé d’Action contre la Faim points sur la nutrition, la résilience et les crises humanitaires (liste non exhaustive).
- Objectif 4 : Assurer un soutien adéquat aux missions en matière de MEAL, de Communication et de sourcing/capacité RH

- Baccalauréat ou master en sciences politiques, en administration des affaires ou formation similaire / ou expérience équivalente en tant que directeur pays ou Desk Officer § Etudes spécifiques en aide humanitaire et/ou développement § Bonne connaissance de la gestion de cycle de projet § Expérience dans la gestion d’équipes multidisciplinaires
- Bonne connaissance d’Action contre la Faim et de ses domaines d’expertise
- Essentiel : Cinq années ou plus vivant dans un pays en développement avec une solide expérience en gestion. Trois ans ou plus d’expérience en gestion en tant que chef de mission, fortement appréciée.
- Expérience en négociation avec les bailleurs de fonds, mise en place de réseaux. anglais et français
- Solides compétences en matière de représentation et de négociation pour les négociations des donateurs et la représentation dans les forums de haut niveau de la région. Expérience de travail professionnelle pertinente aux niveaux national et international en matière de coordination, de planification, de gestion, de plaidoyer et d’analyse stratégique.
