What we’re looking for
Methodica Consulting is currently looking for Senior Experts to assist on country-level case studies in the context of a global evaluation. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
- Technical expertise in economic interventions, especially livelihood support programmes, refugee/IDP assistance, basic-needs, and protection work, including relevant analytical frameworks and programming approaches and standards;
- 10+ years of experience in contributing to interventions/ evaluations/ other research projects in the country of focus – on the subjects above, as well as on conflict/protection issues;
- Understanding of the ICRC’s mandate and work, previous experience with ICRC as a staff member or consultant would be a strong asset;
- Proven expertise in facilitating participatory workshops involving different groups and participants on theories of change, contribution analysis, stakeholder mapping is an asset;
- Full proficiency in English and applicable local languages/dialects.
The expert will support the core team on the development of project design and quality assure preliminary findings. While the Level of Effort (LoE) may vary depending on the specific project, experts are likely not involved in the day-to-day management of the project but rather provide input at specific moments, which can be scheduled in advance.
