Overview:

We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Associate to support the recruitment efforts by advertising approved positions on assigned job portals, representing IBTCI at job fairs and networking events, utilizing networks and resources to source and recruit qualified applicants. The incumbent will also propose process improvements, maintain accurate records, and foster a culture of purpose and excellence within the TA Team and organization.

This position is based in IBTCI’s home office located in Vienna, VA (currently in Hybrid mode, going to the office once a week).

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition department and staff.
  • Advertise all approved positions in the assigned sites including Local Employment Service Delivery System (ESDS)/States Job Banks and keep the record.
  • Register and attend (virtual & physical) job fairs and networking events representing IBTCI.
  • Use networks and TA resources to find qualified applicants and conduct full life cycle recruiting (advertise, source, intake call, screen, interview/vet candidate tracking, among others).
  • Conduct multiple recruitments for proposals, projects, and home office openings for entry level positions.
  • Conduct reference checks, degree verifications and due diligence process, and assist in rate negotiation/extending offers and internal compliance checks.
  • Identify and propose process improvements including Talent Acquisition tools, templates, and procedures to improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Maintain own requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), ensuring candidates are in the correct status of the recruitment process maintaining compliance with current laws and Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Director to generate recruitment reports from the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition team to promote a culture of purpose and excellence in recruiting among the recruitment team, and other staff.
  • Prepare a monthly newsletter to capture the activities of the Talent Acquisition department.
  • Assist in data collection and preparation for Talent Acquisition reporting, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in International Development, USAID, or State Department projects.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking System required, (ICIMS familiarity preferred).
  • Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous recruitments and managing the entire recruitment cycle.
  • Oral and written fluency in English is required, fluency in another language (Spanish, Arabic or French) is preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, international affairs, business administration or related field.

Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment. IBTCI is allowing for temporary hybrid work in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. This will be updated by the company.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: International travel may be required and may include travel to fragile or conflict-prone zones.

Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Work Authorization: Authorization to work in the U.S.A is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
