- Since 18 August, heavy rains and strong winds have affected Davao Province, south-eastern Mindanao, southern Philippines, causing floods and resulting in casualties and damage.
- According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), as of 20 August, two people have died, two have been injured across Tagum City, New Corella and Braulio E. Dujali Municipalities (central Davao Province), and almost 9,300 people have been affected by floods. In addition, seven houses have been destroyed and two damaged.
- For the next 24 hours, cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast across Mindanao.
