- Heavy rainfall has been affecting northern Algeria, in particular the Bordj Bou Arreridj Province, and southern Algeria (Tamanrasset Province) over the past week, causing floods that have resulted in casualties and damage.
- The Algerian Civil Protection (DGPCDZ) and media report three fatalities, of which two across the Bou Arreridj Province and one in the Tamanrasset Province. In addition, one person was reported missing across Tamanrasset.
- Over the next 24 hours, drier conditions are forecast over most of the country.
