Description

According to the Quick Report of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Yen Bai, Bac Kan, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, and Quang Ninh provinces, heavy rain from August 20 to August 21, 2024 caused damage:
– 1 person died due to flood (Tuyen Quang);
– 35 houses were flooded and damaged;
– 13 hectares of rice and crops were damaged; 06 livestock died;
– 13 traffic routes were eroded, including National Highway 18B (Quang Ninh), causing traffic congestion. Local authorities have set up barriers and temporarily stopped traffic through the eroded area.
– 05 irrigation works were damaged, 01 school was flooded, 07 electric poles were broken.
