Content Developer – Child Health Communication

This project aims to improve public understanding and engagement around child health, development, and protection. The Content Developer will be responsible for producing culturally relevant, accessible materials in both English and Russian, turning technical health information into clear, compelling content suited for various formats and audiences—including refugee communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop written content on child health, development, and advocacy topics for print, digital, and multimedia platforms
  • Adapt complex health information into audience-appropriate formats and messages
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and creative teams to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness
  • Contribute to campaigns addressing violence against children and climate-related child health risks

Education/Training:
Bachelor’s degree in communication, public health, journalism, education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Language:
Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken)

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content development for health or development communication
  • Demonstrated ability to create culturally relevant and engaging materials for diverse audiences
  • Experience working with vulnerable or displaced populations is a plus
  • Familiarity with development or donor-funded projects is preferred

Preferred Criteria:

  • Knowledge of child protection, climate communication, or humanitarian contexts
  • Experience working with NGOs or international development organizations
