Arab Women Organization: Trainer on Women, Peace and Security Agenda (Jordan)

The Arab Women Organization of Jordan (AWO) is seeking a qualified trainer to deliver a three-day thematic training (12–14 October 2025) on the Women, Peace and Security Agenda (WPSA). The training will focus on the four UNSCR 1325 pillars, connections with other UN mandates, and addressing complex security challenges in the 21st century.

This activity is part of the regional project “Strengthening Feminist CSOs for the Implementation of the WPSA in Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine”, funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a tailored training curriculum for CSOs and CBOs.

Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions.

Provide guidance on implementing gender-responsive strategies under the WPSA framework.

Facilitate knowledge exchange and assess training outcomes.

Qualifications:

Proven expertise in gender studies, conflict resolution, or related fields with focus on WPSA.

Experience in conducting trainings/workshops for CSOs or similar organizations.

Familiarity with the socio-political context of Jordan.

Strong communication and facilitation skills.
