The Strategic Partnerships team harnesses the power of the private sector to fuel sustainable global health solutions by prioritizing high ROI opportunities and matching them to the best partners. Our innovative and creative team partners with leading Fortune 500 companies to support programs operating in more than 40 countries.

PSI seeks an Associate Manager, Strategic Partnerships that will provide wide-ranging operational and project management support to the Strategic Partnerships team within PSI’s Global Fundraising department. The role is a critical on that will help the team expand existing and secure new partnership opportunities by assisting with project and proposal administration, conducting pipeline research and outreach, and providing administrative support for a variety of other activities.

Responsibilities

Your contributions

-Support the execution of a portfolio of projects by setting up awards in PSI’s systems, monitoring agreement modifications, workplans and deliverables, and donor reporting, and assisting with subaward management in coordination with immediate team members, network member/country project team members, and global technical and service departments. (35% of time)
-Conduct prospecting research and help brief the team on identified priority fundraising objectives. (30% of time)
-Assist with new business development opportunities, including development of pitch, concept, and proposal materials. (15% of time)
-Provide routine administrative support for daily operations, project management, and general functioning of assigned portfolio. (10% of time)
-Provide support for knowledge management activities, including the design of tools and systems for knowledge management and information tracking, creation and maintenance of internal filing systems, administration of online communications site(s), and development of communications materials. (10% of time)

What are we looking for?

-Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
-At least 3 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted.
-Knowledge of international development, international donor priorities and/or health areas preferred (such as DFID, USAID, CDC, KFW, corporate and foundation donors).
-Basic knowledge of or demonstrated interested in how the private and the non-profit sectors can strategically achieve social impact together.
-Strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communications skills.
-Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365.
-Strong budget management skills.
-Excellent organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail. Able to balance multiple projects, wear multiple hats, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment.
-Excellent research and investigative skills. Able to find, evaluate, and present useful information related to a specific topic.
-Excellent collaboration, customer service, relationship building/management and consensus building skills. Able to respond calmly and confidently in any situation.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to think creatively and approach tasks or problems in a new or different way.
-Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
