Chief of Party (CoP) Kosovo

This position is contingent upon Customer approval, funding, and position availability.

Amentum is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Chief of Party for a USAID/Kosovo Critical Infrastructure Resilience. This position will be responsible for overseeing support to improve Kosovo’s Critical Infrastructure Resilience, particularly in the area of Cybersecurity and Climate Change. This will include providing support to the Government of Kosovo to improve its Critical Infrastructure Regulatory Environment, improve Critical Infrastructure Operators’ capacity to prepare and respond to potential incidences and improve overall cybersecurity and climate risk management workforce capabilities. The Program Manager/Chief of Party will provide overall leadership, management, and technical direction to achieve project objectives.

LOCATION: KOSOVO

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overall leadership, management, and technical direction, ensuring a common vision among project staff and stakeholders while integrating activities under different expected results and objectives.
• Manage project staff and sub-contractors
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, USAID, Cooperating Country government counterparts, and other public and private sector stakeholders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for USAID/Kosovo
• Identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner, suggesting appropriate program adjustments and ensuring compliance with all local policies and USAID regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum educational requirement of a Bachelor of Science degree (Master’s preferred) in a related discipline;
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Security Clearance issued by the US Government for the duration of your employment on this contract.
• Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred);
• At least 20 years of overall experience and previous program leadership experience with activities of similar scope and complexity;
• Proven experience supporting government agencies develop systems to improve critical infrastructure resilience;
• Demonstrable communication, creative problem solving, and management skills.
