Do you want to learn how international NGOs create projects that are responsive to the needs of all people while taking into account the opportunities and constraints related to gender, age, disability and other factors? Do you want to understand how gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) and women’s economic empowerment (WEE) are integrated into agriculture and food systems project design and implementation? Do you want to better understand GESI/WEE-related good practices, methodologies, and tools? The GESI/WEE Intern’s main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Supporting GESI communities of practice through scheduling and knowledge management assistance
· Providing support in the development of GESI/WEE tools and trainings for food systems
· Assisting in the research and creation of deliverables such as working papers and reports
· Assisting with the development, scheduling, and facilitation of virtual meetings
