Education Development Trust is an education charity that exists to transform lives by improving education around the world. We work collaboratively with national and local governments, schools and other partners to design and deliver sustainable solutions to improve education.
We’re looking to appoint a talented Resourcing Specialist to cover for a maternity leave in our Global Resourcing team. You’ll will work with and for a diverse range of clients and end-users including Education Development Trust staff, partner organisations, donors and government officials.
You’ll play a pivotal role in resourcing candidates and consultants for our bids and live programmes, in particular helping to lead the resourcing for our programmes in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Working closely with Global Resourcing colleagues in the UK, SSA and Middle East, you’ll help develop and strengthen a pipeline of talented education consultants and candidates. You’ll also help us to grow our networks and our reach into new markets.
Key Tasks
- Identify, attract, assess and quality assure candidates for bids and projects across the UK and SSA region, using a variety of resourcing methods including targeted search, database searching, LinkedIn and social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
- Work with Global Resourcing colleagues to develop and strengthen a pipeline of talented consultants for Ed Dev Trust’s projects across our regional hubs.
- Use the in-house database/applicant tracking system (ATS) of experts to search, assess and categorise candidate CVs. Develop targeted talent pools of consultants and candidates for current and future projects.
- Write compelling job adverts to attract relevant applicants, leveraging and building Education Development Trust’s employer brand. Use the in-house database/applicant tracking system (ATS) to post jobs, manage applications and shortlist candidates.
- Work with specialist agencies to source interim support for our UK Programmes as required.
- Hold initial screening calls with candidates to assess suitability and fit against bids requirements, consultancy assignments and employed vacancies.
