JOB SUMMARY

The Admin Officer is responsible for managing administrative, human resources, and financial functions to ensure the smooth operation of the center. This role is critical for maintaining a well-organized and efficient environment, both for beneficiaries and staff.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Admin Officer has the following responsibilities and duties:

  1. Organize regular meetings with local partners (such as the church and community stakeholders) and document meeting minutes.
  2. Contribute to the preparation of monthly progress reports and support activity documentation in coordination with the MHPSS team.
  3. Oversee procurement and logistical services related to equipping the community center, including furniture and printed materials.
  4. Support data collection for assessments and monitoring, ensuring proper archiving of documents while maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of beneficiaries.
  5. Follow up on financial disbursement procedures and ensure alignment with the project budget and approved procurements.
  6. Provide administrative and logistical coordination support to the technical team for the timely and proper implementation of individual and group sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Should have the following skills, education, and experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
  2. Previous experience in management function.
  3. Good understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage times effectively.
  5. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
  6. Prior experience in the humanitarian field is required, particularly in providing support to vulnerable populations affected by emergencies or crises.
