The HR Officer is responsible for staff administration within a delegation or sub-delegation. S/he provides HR services in line with the ICRC’s and the delegation’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
- Supports the HR Officer in charge of recruitment on guiding managers on the recruitment process; reviews and processes job requisitions;
- Assists in all related administrative aspects of recruitment such as local publication of job advertisements, proper longlisting of qualified candidates, coordination with the hiring manager on shortlisting, and facilitating exams and arranging interviews;
- Takes the lead in onboarding new employees and guides the HR Officers on the field when needed;
- Supports in the proper recruitment and management of other function classifications – daily workers, interns, consultants, etc.;**Compensation and Benefits**
- Processes payroll for Mindanao-based staff and ensure accurate recording of salary-related data;
- Coordinates with respective departments for any allowances or variables necessary for processing payroll;
- Ensures the accurate recording of employee loans in Strategic to be included in payroll;
HR Administration
- Records leave and overtime claims of staff on a regular basis;
- Provides salary and holiday reports on a monthly basis to the staff; provides a summary of team annual leaves to the heads of unit;
- Ensures accurate filing of Mindanao employee files, both physical and digital versions;
REQUIRED PROFILE
- 2-3 years of progressive work experience in compensation and benefits, as well as recruitment;
- University degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or relevant field;
- Knowledge and experience in payroll ERP is a strong advantage;
- Computer Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);
- Strong time management skills (multi-tasks, prioritizes work tasks, utilizes resources effectively/efficiently, adapts to changing work demands/priorities/environments);
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
