Takaful Al Sham (TAS) has been responding to the Syrian crisis since 2012 and to the Refugee Response in Turkiye since 2013. TAS works in Education, Early Recovery, Food Security, Livelihood & Empowerment, WASH, Protection, Shelter, CCCM, and Emergency Response, where TAS has implemented successfully more than 130 projects in Direct partnership with Institutional donors, UN Agencies, and INGOs such as; BHA, SCHF, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, IOM, CARE, GOAL, Save the Children, Global Communities, World Vision, DRC, WHH, Archenova, Chemonics. Seeking to save lives and alleviate human suffering through collaborative, local, and sustainable relief and development assistance, TAS believes that empowerment of women, adolescents, youth, and those who are physically and mentally challenged engage and become proactive in their communities through socio-economic sustainability, development and durable solutions, for a brighter future.

Role Purpose:

Follow up the field photography team and provide the necessary support to it, also document TAS activities in Gaziantep in Turkey, in addition to creating content for social media In cooperation with the Media Team and managing some of TAS social media platforms.

OBJECTIVES**:**

Ensure internal controllability and facilitate the implementation of TAS procedures and policies.

Ensure the preparation and follow-up of external audits, spot checks, and due diligence, carried out at headquarters or in the field.

Provide the necessary support in conducting internal Spot-checks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow up and support the field media team.

Follow up on the project media plans with TAS team.

Follow up and develop the media archive in TAS.

Checking and reviewing all outputs of the field team to be consistent with the media policy of Takaful Al Sham and the basic principles of humanitarian action.

Document all requested activities and events in Gaziantep in Turkey with high quality and professionality.

Create some creative content for social media for some TAS projects, in addition to professionally managing social media platforms related to these projects and achieving actual results and follow up with the stockholders of these projects.

Archiving all work files according to the system in the media department.

Follow up the tasks on the online platform in media department.

Develop and submit proposals to develop Media policies, products, and procedures.

Other duties:

Submit a regular monthly report to the Media coordinator.

Any other tasks assigned to it by the Media coordinator in Media work.

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in media work in non-profit organizations.

A lot of Creative skills!

Prefer to have a university degree in media/TV/ Cinema.

Excellent planning, organizing, and team leadership skills.

Very good knowledge of international donors’ media terms and their compliance requirements.

Excellent Photography skills.

Good skills in design software, especially Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design.

Excellent Skills in video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Good skills in MS Office especially in PowerPoint.

Very good computer skills.

Advanced learning skills.

A very good command of effective communication and representation skills (oral and written).

Analyzing and problem-solving skills.

Excellent Teamwork skills.

High level of negotiation and persuasion skills.

The ability to work under pressure.

B level in English languages

Turkish language is a mandatory
