Medical Laboratory Technologist, Roster all areas, H02

Performs the full range of laboratory services including biochemistry, hematology, serology, routine (urine and stool examination) and bacteriology;

Ensures accuracy and completeness of laboratory information in the computerized health information system (e-Health);

Maintains laboratory equipment, supplies and reagents;

Updates the programming of the automated laboratory equipment and follows up the preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment;

At Health Centres without Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist :

-Prepares estimates of requirements for replenishment of consumable supplies;

-Prepares the monthly and annual laboratory statistical report ;

-Reviews and analyzes quality control results (internal and external) and makes the necessary intervention.

Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
