Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Project Director for a contract contingent position to support GHTASC Program.
The purpose of the Global Health Training, Advisory, and Support Contract (GHTASC) is to advance the Bureau for Global Health’s mission by providing junior, mid-level, senior, and expert advisory and technical, administrative and operational, and training, professional development and organizational development institutional support contract services and resources. GHTASC will provide the professional services needed to support USAID’s strategic programs and collaborate with USAID offices to promote efficient and effective global health programming and operations.
Candidates for this position should be senior-level professionals with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing USAID global health programs. The position will be responsible for oversight of the entire project, and will be required to work with various stakeholders, including local stakeholders, high-level government and USAID officials.

Primary responsibilities are aimed at providing overall leadership management and general technical direction of the entire program, ensuring an integrated vision among different components and actors, and a focus on achieving the results defined in the award. This individual will be expected to manage the staff and to identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner, and suggest appropriate program adjustments. This individual shall act as the key liaison between USAID and all other counterparts and implementing partners involved with the program. The position requires significant coordination skills, broad general and technical knowledge, experience working in developing countries and skills to ensure coherence and consistency in spite of urgent deadlines.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in public health, global health, international development, education, human resources, or related field of study or equivalent work experience required;
- Ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible international work experience implementing a range of education, capacity building, and performance management awards in global health;
- Experience in senior management of large, complex U.S. Government contracts to include institutional support with approximate funding of $100M annually;
- At least seven (7) years of management experience, including direct supervision of senior management, technical and support staff and assembling teams working on multi-faceted Federal global health programming, U.S. foreign assistance programming, and international development programming;
- Relevant technical background in a field of global health, organizational development, adult learning methodologies, or international human resource management;
- Extensive knowledge of USAID administrative and procurement practices;
- Broad management expertise and experience in setting up and oversight of administrative and financial systems, including extensive experience in financial management and budgeting;
- Demonstrated experience working with a wide range of international development institutions that provide technical leadership and direction for public health programs, including academic institutions, host country governments, US government, and/or program implementers;
- A familiarity with and commitment to addressing diversity, equity and inclusion in project sectors is also required, as demonstrated by at least two years of senior-level experience working on projects that addressed DEI constraints;
- Demonstrated excellent communications and writing abilities and superior interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills; and
- Ability and interest in mentoring individuals from developing countries to strengthen their technical capacity and support their professional development goals.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency with the ability to obtain and maintain Facility Access required.
