Job summary
Responsible for assessing and analyzing security risks in operational areas, implementing preventive measures to ensure the safety of staff and assets, overseeing evacuation plans, delivering awareness trainings, responding to crises and emergencies, and maintaining coordination with local authorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Representing the program management and its projects, overseeing and following up to ensure effective and accountable program and project management.
- Assessing risks: Analyzing the surrounding environment and identifying potential security and safety hazards in the area, developing procedures to address these risks, and providing recommendations to enhance security and safety.
- Implementing security and safety measures: Executing and managing appropriate security and safety procedures, including security patrols and inspections, and ensuring staff compliance with security and safety standards and policies.
- Training and awareness: Delivering training and awareness sessions for staff on security and safety risks and required preventive measures, organizing evacuation and emergency response drills, and advising staff during emergencies.
- Crisis management: Responding to crises and emergencies, taking immediate actions to protect staff and assets, coordinating with relevant authorities, and contributing to providing assistance and support during emergencies.
- Collaboration with external authorities: Communicating and coordinating with local authorities and other relevant entities to exchange information and collaborate on security and safety matters.
- Performance evaluation and improvement: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of security and safety measures, identifying areas for improvement, and providing regular reports and recommendations to management to enhance security and safety.
- Implementing evacuation procedures for field teams and assets according to security situation requirements.
- Reporting incidents to the direct manager upon occurrence and following up until closure.
- Providing continuous security updates through reports or other channels to ensure a regular flow of information.
- Participating in humanitarian negotiations when required.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and reports reflecting program activities and achievements internally and externally.
- Representing ATAA Association before donors, beneficiaries, and external stakeholders (as required).
- Performing field duties required by the position.
- Traveling to follow up on activities and attend external meetings as requested.
- Attending regular meetings with the direct manager, subordinates, and relevant colleagues to discuss and review updates.
