About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Manager will form part of DT Global’s Talent team and work closely with multiple program teams across the organisation including our Strategic Engagement and Partnerships (SEP) team and our Corporate team. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring best practice sourcing and selection across all stages of hiring for our Asia-Pacific region in International Development and other business sectors such as Government Clients and Management Consultancies.
Key to this role will be accessing relevant networks, developing talent pools and leveraging relationships. With a positive and innovative approach, this role will allow you to apply your creativity in attracting talent and connecting with others. You will thrive under pressure, ensure to meet deadlines, be passionate about talent acquisition and be driven to make a positive contribution. You will have exceptional communication skills and be comfortable advising and partnering with senior stakeholders and collaborating across our organisation. You will form part of a team that seeks to attract the right people and aligns with positive values and organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the end-to-end recruitment processes across a broad range of roles within the business.
- Develop networks and implement proactive talent attraction initiatives, building and maintaining a strong pipeline for key upcoming roles.
- Implement sourcing and attraction initiatives aligned with business priorities, including new business and key priority roles. Proactively identify and engage potential candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and other talent sourcing tools.
- Continuously build and nurture strong talent pipelines through targeted networking, talent pooling, and market mapping to ensure readiness for current and future hiring needs.
- Foster strong candidate relationships by building genuine rapport and maintaining timely, transparent communication throughout the recruitment process. This includes conducting thorough screening, managing shortlisting, and leading structured interviews to ensure a positive candidate experience and alignment with role requirements.
- Collaborate with business leads and program teams to develop compelling job advertisements and position descriptions while identifying relevant and attractive advertising platforms
- Provide administrative support as needed, ensuring streamlined processes and maximising recruitment efficiencies including all due diligence and compliance requirements are met
- Uphold principles of inclusion, diversity, and non-bias throughout all stages of the recruitment and selection process, ensuring they are actively integrated into hiring practices.
- Leverage technology and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to efficiently manage candidate pipelines and streamline ongoing recruitment efforts.
- All other related duties as required.
Selection Criteria
- Essential Experience and Knowledge
- You will have a minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience in previous talent acquisition roles, ideally having experience in the Asia Pacific region (preferably in international development) as well as recruiting for Federal Government agencies or management consulting firms.
- Experience using LinkedIn, MS Office and any candidate automated tracking system, such as Taleo
- Excellent written communication & interpersonal skills and internal stakeholder management skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and feels comfortable managing a high volume of tasks with competing deadlines
- You are organised, solution-focused, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently prioritising day to day deliverables.
- Flexible in your approach and willingness to adapt to an often busy and changing environment
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition practices, industry trends, and Commonwealth standards.
Desirable:
- Demonstrated alignment to values such as responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, and respect.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to capture and transcribe information accurately
- Professional discretion and the ability in maintaining confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Work experience in a professional corporate or government setting would be ideal
