Trainer 2 (for Philippine Residents Only)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Trainer 2 drives and implements learning and development programmes according to set objectives and contributes to formulating priorities, deciding learning programs’ strategic orientations and evolution.
  • Internally, interacts within the Learning & Development Managers, the F&A Managers, Heads of Support, field and headquarters-based learning and development staff and programme participants. Externally, interacts with learning and development service providers.
  • Contribute to the regular updating of the training strategy within the FAD Division;
  • Contribute to the design, creation, development, revision and regular updating of training courses -blended or distance learning – in finance and administration for headquarters and field staff (FAD or non-FAD);
  • Contributes to the evaluation of training and development programmes;
  • Ensure, with the support of the SMEs, that the content of the training offered is in line with the procedures in force;
  • Contribute to the creation, development, revision and regular updating of training materials, in collaboration with trainers from FAD, RH_LND and other units;
  • Interact, exchange and collaborate with other staff in the unit, the division and other units;
  • Contribute to the analysis of training needs;
  • Contribute to the administrative and logistical organization of training and development programmes;
  • Writes reports related to his/her function;
  • Replaces fellow trainers as necessary

COURSES DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

  • Under the supervision of the LFP and in collaboration with fellow trainers and Digital Learning officer, reviews, updates and proposes the content and format of the course including the creation of training modules related to Iris and Anaplan. Interacts with the relevant units for other expertise.
  • Contributes to the assessment of the possible options for the design, creation, development of a digital (or non-digital) training solution for the use of Anaplan tool for the beginners. Is the reference for Anaplan and other financial tools.
  • Upon request prepares and delivers training webinars for métiers End users (FAD but also Logistics, ICT, HR and Operations) in Anaplan and in IRIS
  • Contributes to updates of training content in Finances related Communities (Anaplan and IRIS) pages as needed
  • For users in the Field and HQ, proposes, develops and creates, with the support of the Digital Learning officer (DLO), possible options for a digital (or non-digital) training solution for IRIS GL & AP users.
  • Contributes to the revision of the Finance course, in collaboration with the peer trainers, with a focus on functional processes in financial tools, Iris and Anaplan.
  • Assesses, proposes, develop and creates, with the support of both trainers the possible options for the design, creation, development of a digital (or non-digital) training solution for different component of IRIS
  • Proposes, develop and create, with the support of the Digital Learning officer (DLO), possible options for a digital (or non-digital) training solution for the List of Accounts to be Reconciled
  • Assist the Trainer in charge with the update and the development of a relevant Training Catalog. Proposes new courses for the catalog
  • Supporting ad hoc online course facilitation when/if required.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the fields of economics, finance or administrative management;
  • More than 5 years of ICRC field experience (in at least two different contexts for mobile staff) in the role of F&A Manager or equivalent (e.g. Head of Support) or 6-9 years of experience in training design and delivery in another organization or company;
  • Experience in training is an asset; the candidate must undertake specialist training in the delivery of learning and development programmes within one year of taking up the post
  • Good command of English and either French, Arabic or Spanish
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent skills and abilities in learning programme design and facilitation;
  • Organizational and planning skills and organizational development;
  • Good capacity building skills and ability to work independently or in a team;
  • Excellent ability to interact with all project stakeholders (e.g. sponsors, experts, etc.);
  • Knowledge of distance learning tools is an asset
