General Description of the Programme:

SENED is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization licensed and registered in Türkiye with the number 27-15-175. SENED Organization was established shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey as well as internally displaced people in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieving justice, equality, and freedom, strengthening the role of civil society, and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower, and educate the community through several programs, takes exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and defends their issues.

SENED Association emphasizes creating safe, accessible, and participation-encouraging living conditions for individuals’ emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development by focusing on people with disabilities. Beyond the medical perspective on disability, it tries to find solutions to the problems faced by disabled people with a holistic perspective by considering the disabled people, their families, and the society they live in, focusing on the conditions they experience. SENED Association aims to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and stand by with their children. By collecting data on refugee-disabled people and identifying problems and needs, SENED strives to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and local people with a voluntary, professional team and a community-based approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugee people.

Job purpose:

To implement SNR sessions related to special education that will help build the beneficiaries skills, abilities and improve their educational levels in A’zaz.

Duties, objectives, and competencies:

· Plan, prepare and deliver sessions for the beneficiaries.

· The SNR specialist will evaluate the beneficiaries and make the appropriate diagnosis and recommendations for each case.

· Make an internal or external referral to Sened’s Case management team for cases requiring other interventions that cannot be handled by the specialist.

· Develop the appropriate individual educational plan for each case and identify the goals of rehabilitation process and work to implement this process.

· Set the plan of individual sessions and the objectives to be achieved within the session

· Prepare all necessary tools for the implementation of individual and group sessions properly and with the assistance of Assistant Specialist.

· Implementation of individual and group rehabilitation sessions in accordance with international quality standards.

· Provide periodic reports or when requested by the supervisor specialist.

· Implement awareness sessions for caregivers with the assistance of the Assistant Specialist about the disability of their child.

· Provide Capacity building training sessions, in addition to preparing and sharing the training materials and agendas, to frontline workers in Syria about dealing with persons with disabilities.

Requirements: Essential

· Bachelor’s degree in Humanitarian Response, Development Studies or relevant technical field

· beginner level in the English language

· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in implementing education projects.

Requirements (desired)

· Good skills in report writing.

· Experience in humanitarian work and principles.

· Good experience in working with PwDs (People with Disabilities)

· Good knowledge of MS Office programs.

الاشراف على تنفيذ جلسات اعادة تاهيل التي ستساعد في بناء قدرات المستفيدين ومهاراتهم وتحسين مستواهم التعليمي.

Duties, objectives, and competencies:

· التخطيط والتحضير للجلسات الخاصه بالمستفيدين.

· o يقوم أخصائي بتقييم المستفيدين وتقديم التشخيص المناسب والتوصيات لكل حالة.

· o القيام بالاحاله داخليه أو خارجيه إلى فريق سند للحالات التي تتطلب تدخلات آخرى لا يستطيع الاخصائي تقديمها.

· o وضع خطه التعليم الفرديه المناسبه لكل حاله وتحديد اهداف عمليه التاهيل والعمل علي تنفيذ هذه العمليه.

· o وضع خطه الجلسات الفرديه والاهداف التي تحقق في هذه الجلسه

· o اعداد كافه الادوات اللازمه لتنفيذ الجلسات الفرديه والجماعيه بشكل صحيح وبمعاونه المساعد المتخصص.

· o تنفيذ دورات إعادة التأهيل الفردية والجماعية وفقا لمعايير الجودة الدولية.

· o تقديم التقارير الدورية أو عند طلبها من المشرف المختص.

· o تنفيذ دورات توعية لمقدمي الرعاية بمساعدة الأخصائيين المساعدين بشأن إعاقة أطفالهم.

· o توفير دورات تدريبية في مجال بناء القدرات، بالإضافة إلى إعداد مواد التدريب وجداول الأعمال وتبادلها، للعاملين في الخطوط الأمامية في سوريا حول التعامل مع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

· اي مهام اخرى يتم طلبها من قبل المدير المباشر.

Requirements: Essential

· درجة البكالوريوس في الاستجابة الإنسانية أو دراسات التنمية أو المجال التقني ذي الصلة

· مستوى مبتدئ في اللغة الإنجليزية

· سنتين كحد ادنى من الخبرة في منصب مماثل.

Requirements (desired)

· مهارات جيدة في كتابة التقارير.

· خبرة في العمل الإنساني ومبادئه.

· خبرة جيدة في العمل مع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة

· معرفة جيدة ببرامج MS Office
