ACTED
Since 1993, the international solidarity association ACTED has been responding to the humanitarian needs of populations in crisis situations and acting to ensure respect for their dignity. ACTED’s approach goes beyond emergency response, with a commitment to sustainable development and community access to livelihoods.
ACTED is committed to responding to emergencies, developing resilience in the face of crisis situations, co-constructing effective governance, and promoting inclusive and sustainable growth.
We work on the last mile of humanitarian action: ACTED’s mission is to save lives and meet the basic needs of populations in the most difficult to access areas. ACTED develops and implements programs for the most vulnerable populations who suffer from violence, conflict, natural disasters or endemic poverty. ACTED’s teams, made up of 400 international staff and 5,900 national staff, implement more than 500 projects per year with 20 million beneficiaries in 38 countries.
ACTED France (HQ)

Today the head office is made up of around 100 people in the HR, Finance, Programmes, Audit, Security, Logistics & Systems and Communication departments. These departments support ACTED’s 38 missions, comprising around 400 expatriates and more than 5,900 national employees.
