Global Lead – Implementation Risk and Compliance

1. Provide effective global oversight for risk management, lead an integrated approach to monitor and manage implementation risk trends across global project portfolio and inform global risk register and proposal risk assessments

2. Oversee and manage comprehensive consolidated monthly and quarterly operational performance and compliance monitoring, review, and reporting processes across the global portfolio.

3. Provide effective global oversight for grant and contract spend, monitor budget execution and trends across global project portfolio, in line with expenditure plans, maintain appropriate internal controls, and safeguard project budgets, and resources from risks.

Specifically ensuring internal controls, systems and processes are in place which ensure:

a. Grant/contract income and expenditure are accurately reflected in the accounting system and reconciliation of fund balances are performed and checked monthly

b. Cash flow is managed to include cash required and held in country bank accounts

c. debtors are managed d. cost allocation is reviewed and maximizes cost recovery in line with donor agreements
