What we are looking for
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Global Programme Director.
As Global Programme Director youwill be accountable for the programmatic relevance of the organisation necessary to ensure NRC can deliver on its mission and strategy now and in the future. You will have the overall responsibility for global programme development and policy, for driving innovation within NRC’s programmes and for representation of the organization on programme issues. You will manage the heads of the three units that make up the Global Programme Section (GPS) and be the technical professional matrix lead for NRC’s Regional Programme Directors. The Director is a member of the Field Operations Management Team and the Extended Senior Management Group.
What you will do
- Lead the development/updating of NRC’s response policy and related governing documents to reflect changing needs, emerging humanitarian trends and evidence. This includes setting organizational standards for programme quality, impact and results and for the establishment/maintenance of programme compliance systems.
- Lead the development and implementation of programmatic component of NRC’s Global Strategy and related strategic/technical documents, including development areas assigned to the section that go beyond programmes.
- Identifying new trends, best practice and lessons learned across NRCs programmes and externally and feeding innovative approaches, best practice and lessons learned into future programme development, policy and strategy.
- Accountable for the development and maintenance of MEL policies (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning), system, minimum standards and guidelines for all NRC departments. This includes analysis, communication and use of evidence for reporting, management and learning purposes and developing global results frameworks, evidence and learning plans for programme development.
- Accountable for NRC’s external representation in relevant global technical and coordination fora and for ensuring that NRC is in a leading position and shaping major technical programme debates within the humanitarian sector through our advocacy work.

What you will bring
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience with at least 5 years of relevant senior management experience within the humanitarian field
- In-depth professional knowledge and expertise within one or more of NRC’s sectors of programme expertise
- Track record of leading and delivering programme development with global impact
- Experience of innovation, organizational learning, development and change
- Experience of leading and managing staff teams, including providing vision and direction during periods of change
- Outstanding communication, representation and interpersonal skills
What we offer
- Duty station: Oslo, Norway, preferably
- Contract: 2 years
- Travel: up to 30%
- Salary/benefits: grade 13 on NRC’s Head Office salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.

Métodos de equilibrado: cuál elegir
No todos los casos son iguales. Dependiendo del tipo de pieza y su uso, se aplican distintas técnicas:
Equilibrado dinámico
Perfecto para elementos que operan a velocidades altas, tales como ejes o rotores . Se realiza en máquinas especializadas que detectan el desequilibrio en dos o más planos . Es el método más fiable para lograr un desempeño estable.
Equilibrado estático
Se usa principalmente en piezas como llantas, platos o poleas . Aquí solo se corrige el peso excesivo en un plano . Es ágil, práctico y efectivo para determinados sistemas.
Corrección del desequilibrio: cómo se hace
Taladrado selectivo: se quita peso en el punto sobrecargado
Colocación de contrapesos: tal como en neumáticos o perfiles de poleas
Ajuste de masas: común en cigüeñales y otros componentes críticos
