HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL HR OPERATIONS

The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for Head of International HR Operations who will be Providing support to OI People and Culture Director, acting as a strategic leader for the international HR Operations, responsible for high quality, accurate & consistent services across countries and regions. Lead on the ongoing design of the structure of HR Operations, including appropriate level of resources, skills, capability and ensuring future proofing for key transformation work (such as the Transforming Business Support program). Operate as a strategic leader of the Regional Human Resource Business Partner (RHRBP) network and core member of Oxfam Executing Affiliate (EA) HR Directors Group to play a key role in translating Oxfam’s People strategy into HR Operational excellence.

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or related field.

• Typically, 10+ years of relevant and progressive experience as HR generalist, including minimum 5 years working experience in a global setting.
• Extensive working knowledge and experience of labour law (multi-countries) and its application.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a dispersed, multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team.
• Commitment to Oxfam’s values and experience, sensitive of promoting gender equity & diversity and the
interests of marginalized people in all aspects of Oxfam’s work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in plain Language.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Desirable
• Experience of working with an I/NGO
• A working knowledge of French/ Spanish/ Arabic
