An exciting opportunity to head up the Administration and Reporting for a leading international NGO working in Oslo, Norway.

What we are looking for

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, resilient and dynamic Head Office HSS Technical Administration and Reporting Officer to provide support to our teams In HSS Unit. The successful candidate will provide service and support to Head Office Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) Section so administrational and reporting efforts function well.

The aim is to provide high quality administrational support at the Head Office Health, Safety, and Security section in Oslo. The Technical Administration and Reporting Officer is responsible for the day-to-day administrative support to the Global HSS Director and the Section in general..

What you will do

1. Run the incident reporting system, consolidate data and provide statistics.

2. Contact person for interns; Follow up with their work progress and distribute tasks.

3. Focal point for HSS Communication regarding admin and reporting matters.

4. Administer and order translations of HSS documents

  1. Take meeting minutes
  2. Follow-up with HSS Roving staff on their travels and administer salary bookings

What you will bring

Minimum 1 years of relevant experience

• Professional knowledge and experience from administration and services

• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.

• Highly computer and technology literate

• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal. French and Arabic would be considered an asset.

  • Travel: 10-20%
  • Salary/benefits: grade 6 on NRC’s regional salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions
