About Us:

INTERNATIONAL WARS AND DISASTERS VICTIMS’ PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (IRVD) is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

IRVD is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter & Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

IRVD also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance.

Job Description

IRVD is seeking an Information and Archiving Management Officer to set appropriate standards and operational policies, design, implement and maintain records systems and their operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and produce reliable, accessible, relevant, and timely information.
  • Knowledge of protection-related guidelines, standards, and indicators
  • Cooperating with the data entry to ensure the data’s quality and compliance with the requirements.
  • Any task required of him by the direct manager within the competence of his work.
  • Provide technical support to data entry in the center and project staff.
  • Contribute to setting the necessary plans for the progress of the data registration process.
  • It archives all the center’s files electronically and on paper.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the technical officer and project manager.
  • Responsible for personnel affairs and keeping their documents with the human resources official electronically and on paper.
  • Follow up on employees’ daily hours and annual sick leave with the human resources official.
  • Understanding of different data collection methodologies
  • Commitment to training, if any.
  • Supervising, implementing and documenting training for project staff.

Supervision:

  • Active participation in the scientific activities carried out by the center.
  • Manage the filing and maintenance of all patient records.

Project reporting:

  • Check that information management tools are adapted to meet IRVD standards and the sector needs and bring issues to the attention of the supervisor.

Ability to:

  • Ability to work in a stressful setting and adapt quickly to changing environments.
  • Ability to conduct work in a professional and mature manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of experience in information management, information systems, web management, and data management
  • Knowledge of different data collection methodologies and statistical information analysis.

By these values, the IRVD enforces policies on Beneficiary Protection from Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, and Anti-Retaliation and Combating Trafficking in Persons.

Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout IRVD. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of IRVD and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicate these values to staff and partners and require them to adhere to them.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within IRVD and amongst beneficiaries served by IRVD
