humedica e.V. is a Christian, non-denominational, international humanitarian aid organization based in Kaufbeuren (Bavaria, Germany), which currently employs 80 people in Germany and works with an international team, as well as hundreds of volunteers worldwide.

Project Finance Employee (m/f/x) full-time

(Temporary position for 2 years with the possibility of a permanent position)

THE JOB:

• Carrying out project finance controlling and accounting for projects in various countries (including earthquake relief in Turkey) in the field of humanitarian aid and development cooperation
• Checking project accounts of local partner organisations and test certificates of local authorities
• Ensuring the correct handling of projects according to internal & external guidelines (e.g. donor guidelines)
• Preparing financial reports and proof of use of funds
• Contact person for the project management group regarding financial issues
• Support with budget preparation

YOUR PROFILE:

• At least a financial or commercial apprenticeship/ education and/or experience in this field
• Good knowledge of German or very good knowledge of written and spoken English & willingness to learn German
• Very good MS Office skills
• Independent & reliable way of working
• Enjoy conceptual and innovative thinking and work
• High level of team and communication skills, flexibility, stress resistance
