Job Purpose

To supervision of protection and GBV and follow up on the implementation of project activities with the required quality.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Community Resilience Manager and Protection Team to develop a detailed strategy and work plans aligned with GBV. Developing relationships with INGOs and donors regarding existing partnerships and potential partnerships.
Work closely with the Community resilience Manager to develop the proposals and potential grants.
Effective representation of Violet in the protection cluster and GBV-sub cluster.
Technical and management supervision aspects of the protection and GBV Prevention and Response projects implementation and coordination. Contribute to building capacity of all protection teams, on all matters related to project implementation for timely, successful, and efficient implementation of all activities planned under the project(s).
Identify lessons learned and best practices for learning.
Carry out any other duties as may be required by the community resilience manager.
Support in regular collection, entry, analysis, and visualization of data for program reporting. Support in program administration, HR, and procurement for protection and GBV programming.
Respect and apply all the PSEA and child safeguarding policies and principles, and show high commitment to report any PSEA & CSG action..

Note: the above-mentioned vital responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Depending on the department’s organizational chart, other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

A. Essential

University Degree in Social Science, Education,
Psychological Counseling, or other related fields,
or a technical experience of not less than 5 years
in the field of protection and gender-based
violence
At least six-year I/NGO experience; in GBV.
