Information Management Support Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow up internal project work plan with the M&E field team.
  • Update project repository for M&E data.
  • Contribute to and finalize weekly reports for the M&E Management team to review.
  • Contribute to quarterly reporting.
  • Coordinate the field teamwork in conducting data collection activities.
  • Develop a standard set of project M&E templates for field team use to collect and track indicator data for reporting up to the project Results Management Plan.
  • Develop a verification mechanism for activities, equipment and other operational support and train staff on this mechanism.
  • Develop and deliver a staff training on how to customize indicators and results frameworks to specific activities.
  • Develop and deliver a staff training on M&E tools and their use in collecting, verifying, and tracking data.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills are required.
  • 5 years of experience in humanitarian projects.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Coordination Architecture in the Cluster Approach.
  • Experience in Cluster coordination.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and creativity in planning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team in a sensitive environment.
  • Knowledge of Sphere standards and other training in humanitarian response is preferred.
  • Adequate negotiation and conviction skills
  • Excellent Presentation Skills.
